QUICK ANSWERS BEFORE YOU REQUEST A REPAIR
Appliance repair FAQ
Clear answers about pricing, booking, service area and what information to send before a visit is agreed.
How much is the first visit?
The first visit is £90. Parts are charged separately.
Is there another call-out fee if parts have to be ordered?
If ordered parts require a return visit, there is no additional return or call-out fee for that return visit. Any other additional work or cost is explained and agreed before proceeding.
Does contacting you automatically book a visit?
No. An enquiry is not an automatic appointment. A visit is only agreed after the fault, postcode and availability have been confirmed.
What should I send?
Your postcode, appliance type, brand and fault. A photo of the appliance label, error code, leak or visible fault can also help.
Which appliances do you cover?
Common domestic electric appliance repair enquiries include washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, electric ovens, cookers and hobs, fridges and fridge-freezers. If you are unsure, send the appliance details first so scope can be confirmed.
Which areas do you cover?
Repair enquiries are handled across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Dorset and nearby Hampshire. Send your postcode so coverage can be confirmed before a visit is agreed.
Before you contact us
A few simple checks can make the first conversation clearer without dismantling or testing anything unsafe.
Note the symptoms
Write down any error code, unusual noise, leak, loss of heat or cooling, and when the problem started.
Find the model label
If it is easy and safe to reach, send a clear photo of the appliance model or rating label.
Stop if there is a safety risk
If you notice smoke, burning smells, sparking or water near electrical parts, stop using the appliance and make the area safe before contacting us.
Still need help?
Use Request a Repair, call or WhatsApp with the appliance, postcode and fault. We will review the details before a visit is agreed.
